JOB TITLE: Purchasing/Inventory Manager

Avox-Eros Services, a distributor of high quality emergency respirator oxygen systems, has recently relocated to the San Fernando Valley, and is currently seeking for a Purchasing/ Inventory Manager

The Purchasing / Inventory Manager will negotiate with vendors for the purchase of all materials, supplies, equipment and services used by Avox-Eros Services. This person is responsible for purchasing and inventory management.

Position Responsibilities

1. Negotiates with vendors for good and services, negotiating the best possible price and service guarantee.
2. Manages the PO process tracking requests, ordering and receiving of goods. Create and distribute monthly status reports.
3. Establish purchasing policies, ensure compliance and examines bids.
4. Reduce inventory and work closely with Operations to ensure the Sales Representative and Customers needs are met.
5. Responsible for purchasing management, inventory control and record of items: analysis, and justification.
6. Coordinate and develop new product and vendors.
7. Manage inventory cycle count adjustments into computer database.
8. Works closely with Finance Department to ensure adherence to budget and financial policies.
9. May be required to travel.

Qualifications
Education
• Bachelor Degree, in business related area.

Skills
• Strong Negotiating Skills
• Proficient with MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access
• Organizational skills for efficient control are required

Experience
• Must have 4-6 years of purchasing/inventory management experience preferably in the medical environment.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Work requires continual attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing material, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.
