Outside Machinist

Purpose: National City facility is currently seeking an experienced Outside Machinist. Duties will include machining parts to specifications using machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, shapers and grinders. Also, maintaining machines by dismantling using hand and power tools and examining parts for defects. Experience designing fixtures, tooling and parts to meet engineering needs is also preferred.
Requirements for this position include the knowledge of machines and tools including repair and maintenance. Also, some computer skills are required including the knowledge of circuit boards , electronic equipment and computer hardware and software.
