BonaKemi, an 80 year old manufacturer of wood floor finishing and maintenance products, provides the following opportunities at its new production plant in Monroe. OPERATOR Produce waterborne & solvent borne finishes, sealers, stains, & maint products, follow SOP's for computer controlled automatic and manual batch building, assist in developing SOP's for new products and improvements, maintain raw material levels, and perform maint. of pumps, valves, mixers, and tanks. Exp in prev maint of pumps and machinery and operating a forklift. Computer prof (Windows, Lotus Notes, Excel, BaaN, Delta V), troubleshooting skills, basic algebra skills, and physically able to lift 50 lbs. AS or AA in chemical manufacturing or 1-2 yrs exp in Printing, Textile, Paper Manufacturing. PURCHASING BUYER Maintain adequate inventories & order raw materials to fulfill production requirements, evaluate reports, communicate with buyers, set-up material deliver plans & safety stocks, enter PO's, complete subcontracting orders & non-stock purchases, follow-up on late orders, estab. new suppliers, negotiate pricing. 2 yrs purchasing exp, computer prof (Word, Excel, BaaN Integrated MRP software), excellent comm skills, detail oriented, well organized.
