Position Description
Our client has an immediate opening for an Operations Manager to plan, direct and coordinate the second shift production team. The primary responsibilities are as follows:
·Manage daily operations of the second shift including production, quality, maintenance, logistics and safety functions.
·Coordinate all second shift activities with other Managers prior to the start of the shift.
·Ensure that second shift activities are being performed in a manner consistent with company goals and objectives.
·Oversee a continuing program of training and cross training designed to improve work performance.
REQUIREMENTS
Position Qualifications
·Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of experience and education
·2-5 years supervisory experience in an automated manufacturing environment
·Thorough understanding of various disciplines within the manufacturing operation such as production, quality, PC, logistics, maintenance and support
·Working understanding of TPS/Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen.
·Stamping and welding experience a plus
·Good computer skills

Compensation and Benefits
·Base compensation $65,000-70,000 depending on experience
