Multi-Craft Maintenance Mechanic

Purpose: A large manufacturing company in Carrollton is actively searching for a qualified multi-craft maintenance mechanic.

Below are the essential job functions for this opening:

--Troubleshoot defective equipment and determine problems, cause and remedy
--Confers with operators and observes, tests and evaluates operation of machinery and equipment to diagnose cause of malfunctions or determine condition
--Repair, replace, adjusts and aligns mechanical and electrical components of machinery and equipment.
--Remanufactures or manufactures parts or components as needed
--Welds, fabricates or machines parts or assemblies to repair, maintain, build or assemble equipment
--Operates hoists, lift trucks, power tools, cranes, loaders, vehicles and hand tools.
--MUST maintain annual OSHA requirements and training.
--Operates equipment to test its functioning and verify adequacy of repairs or adjustments
--Performs preventative maintenance and inspections on equipment and facilities
--Must fill out manually or electronically, reporting sheets, part orders, work orders, report boards and other related documentation.
--Required to correctly identify and label parts or systems used in the facility with correct quantity and location.
--MUST SUPPLY OWN TOOLS
