Molding Technician - Spectrum Plastics

Spectrum Plastics, an Associated Spring Company, is searching for an Injection Molding Technician.This individual will be responsible for:•Set-up and start injection molding machines
•Troubleshoot processes and make adjustments to maintain high quality production.•Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections
•Keep work area clean and maintained in orderly manner.•Keep paperwork data up to date & in orderly manner.
•Assume primary responsibility for the quality of all product manufactured in assigned area.
REQUIREMENTS
•High School Diploma or equivalent
•5+ years as a hands-on Technician in the plastic injection molding industry•Ability to work independently and by written & verbal instructions.
•Ability to set-up and process various injection molding machines
•Familiarity with Electric machines, robotics, and engineering thermoplastics a plus
•PM all equipment as required.
•Must be able to maintain a valid forklift license
•Must have the ability to lift medium-weight materials and to read and complete paperwork.Spectrum Plastics is a subsidiary of the Barnes Group.
