Materials Manager

If you are an experienced Materials Manager from an automotive component manufacturing environment this may be your next move. This is a growing manufacturer that offers an excellent career opportunity to use and expand your professional skills. This position will be responsible and provide leadership to all material functions, this includes material control, purchasing, production schedule, inventory control, shipping and receiving.Will also establish and maintain Kan Ban finished good inventories. This position will have 5 direct reports.
REQUIREMENTS
The requirements for this position are: 1.Must have a Bachelors Degree. 2.Must have at least 10 years experience in Material Planning functions with in depth understanding of standard material planning system logic plus understanding of the manufacturing environment. 3.Must have a background in automotive component manufacturing. 4.Must have at least 5 years of experience in an equivalent position in the automotive industry. 5. Knowledgeable in lean manufacturing techniques. 6. Should have a solid track record with strong communication skills.
