Manufacturing manager- Production expert in Quality Ops

We are a leading manufacturer of electrical and electronic systems. Training and experience in lean manufacturing principals preferred. Relocation to Syracuse NY is available.

This key Production Manager position will responsible for 150 plus people (direct reports include: support coordinators, cell leaders, facilities manager, maintenance lead, cell leaders).

We are looking for self-managed individuals. Will be required to manage multiple priorities, provide leadership and work with global engineering and manufacturing resources.

Key interactions in the areas of production, facilities, equipment maintenance (may also include floor support engineers and the tool room).

We are looking for an experienced professional with strong lean implementation skills. Strong project and people experience is needed, demonstrated ability to lead people, demonstrated ability to implement lean methods.

Pluses: Injection molding, automotive, TS 16949, tool room knowledge, new product introduction

We need a proven leader that can provide specific examples of how they’ve gotten extraordinary results through people while implementing lean methods / continuous improvement efforts. They also need to be articulate in their knowledge of team development - highlighting their role in the evolutionary process.
