Technician. Comply with all state and federal laws regarding the manufacture and/or packaging of pharmaceutical products. Maintain appropriate training on appropriate manufacturing and/or packaging equipment and the current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs). Maintain appropriate training and follow all appropriate SOPs. Interact with visitors and students as directed. Physical Requirements: Exposure to dust, odors, gases, noxious fumes, toxic chemicals (biological and/or chemical agents). Exposure to moving objects and vibration. Proximity to mechanical parts and noise. Requires heavy lifting (50-80 lbs.). Respirator test. General Requirements: One year of appropriate production experience. Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing desirable. Ability to demonstrate adequate mechanical aptitude and a high degree of integrity. Medically able to operate a forklift. Trade school diploma or associate degree in applicable mechanical field preferred. Excellent organizational /verbal/written skills desirable. High school diploma/GED required.
