Manufacturing Engineer

One of our best major manufacturing clients is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator and posses strong analytical skills. Must have a strong sense of urgency, high level of confidentiality and be assertive and able to identify engineering problems and present solutions. Team approach to problem solving, and be able to work independently and/or in a cross-functional work team environment. This role will be on the fast track to move into Staff Engineer/Management level position!!


RESPONSIBILITIES:


Analyze and solve production problems as they arise


Assist with new product introductions and design changes


Plan, recommend and install plant tooling, fixtures and equipment


Lay out production lines


Suggest and implement productivity improvements


Providing assistance to the Maintenance Department in the development of tooling and fixtures


Program CNC equipment


Process and implement Engineering Change Orders


Assist in safety improvements throughout plant


EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:


Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred


1-3 years experience in a manufacturing environment


Knowledge of thermoforming


Excellent communication and time management skills


Must be proficient with Microsoft Office and knowledge of Auto Cad LT


Fabrication, assembly engineering, specifically within the appliance industry is strongly preferred.


Fluency in Spanish (oral and written) preferred.
