Manufacturing Associate 1 - Optimization and Control

Business Unit: GE Infrastructure, EnergyFunction: ManufacturingResponsibilities: * Responsible for performing inspection of purchased parts, materials, components and equipment. Determines or assists in the methods, sequences and procedures necessary for inspection. Works from drawings, sketches, data sheets, specifications and the computer. Work with micrometers, measuring tools, gauges and microscope.
Responsible for adherence to departmental policies and procedures.
Responsible for other departmental functions as deemed necessary by the Supervisor.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: * High School Graduate.
Ability to work from Assembly Drawings, Bills of Material, specifications and data sheets.
Basic computer skills.Desired: * Experience working in an ISO environment.
SAP experience.
Demonstrated communication skills.
Previous assembly experience.
Previous stock experience or knowledge of stock procedures (example: FIFO).Work Traits
