Manager, Ops Process & Engineering

AmeriCold Logistics, the largest provider of temperature controlled warehousing and distribution services in the US, is seeking a Manager of Operational Process and Engineering to join the team at our Operational Process and Engineering team in Ontario, California. Primary Responsibility: Implementation of Best Practices, to include the training of employees performing functions and the management responsible for directing the labor. Essential Functions: 1. Implementation of Distribution Best Practices. 2. Hands on review of SOP’s at facility level to insure compliance with all processes. 3. Direct management on the proper processes of RF functionality throughout facility. 4. Review processes of directed put away with system compliance. 5. Work closely with the Labor Management installation team and train supervision as necessary with the proper methods for observation and the follow up with 'Positive Guidance' when applicable. 6. Active member of facilities review team which conducts site inspections for compliance with all company policies and procedures. 7. Educate management team within facilities to understand costs of labor as it relates to monthly operating statements and budgets. 8. Extensive travel will be required. 9. Other duties as requested.
Job Requirements
Qualifications/Additional Skills: - Minimum 10-15 years of Distribution background - Degree Preferred - Bilingual (Spanish) preferred - RF experience with high volume operations - Inventory Control, SOP’s, OSHA, ISO knowledge - Training Experience at both front line and middle management levels - Excellent verbal/written skills - Computer literate - Working knowledge of Operating Statements and Budget Development
