Maintenance Technician PM

Purpose: An established manufacturer of Lens products in Azusa is looking to place a Maintenance Technician. Qualified candidates should be able to:

PRIMARY PURPOSE:
The primary responsibility of this position is to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair surfacing, finishing equipment used in optical lens manufacturing.
A mechanically inclined individual with hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical background is desired. AC and DC, voltages, motor installation/repairs, compressors, pumps, gears, actauators and valves. Some experience is ok. Will be trained to specific needs.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Responsible for daily maintenance, calibration and support of processes
-Help develop, oversee and perform all required preventive maintenance associated with the Lab
-Provide machine training to new operators and maintenance personnel.

QUALIFICATIONS:
-Minimum of a 2 year degree in electronics or a similar discipline along with practical hands-on experiences
-Must have a proven ability to troubleshoot manufacturing process equipment both electrically and mechanically.
-Must be able to use standard computer software such as Email, Excel, Word, etc.
