Maintenance Supervisor

Currently, QPSI has an immediate opening for a Maintenance Supervisor in the Memphis Facility. Here are the responsibilities:
Directs the daily work activity for both operations and maintenance needs on a plant-wide, or multi-process, or multi-facilities basis
Works with Planner/Schedulers to coordinate maintenance work tasks and follow a Department Maintenance Plan
Develops standard work practices
Inspects completed jobs for quality assurance
Responds to unplanned operational or maintenance events
Compiles data for daily operational reports, inventory control, payrolls, and other day-to-day reporting activity
Manages maintenance backlogs
Diagnoses operational problems and recommends corrective actions
Works with the team to establish goals, priorities, and expectations, and to develop the action plans and strategies for accomplishing them
Promotes team involvement and participation in setting goals, priorities, and strategies for safe, efficient, and effective plant/facility operations
Conducts employee performance evaluations
Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service
REQUIREMENTS
A high school education, or equivalent, is required
3-5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing facility, USDA plant preferred
Must be proficient in 3 of the following skills and possess a working knowledge in at least 2 others: mechanical, electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics, refrigeration, and welding
