Maintenance Purchaser

Position Summary:

Purchase and receive all maintenance parts, and production supplies as needed. Manage inventory levels and storeroom. There will be other duties as needed.





Duties and Responsibilities (including but not limited to):


•Place orders with vendors for parts and supplies as required.
•Work with vendors to ensure we get best pricing and value.
•Enter PO’s in AccuTerm and maintain parts data base in maintenance software.
•Assist production in a maintenance roll as needed.
•Work with vendors and accounting to resolve any billing errors
•Work with vendors to find alternate suppliers as needed
•Maintain maintenance parts room
•Deliver and pick up parts from vendors as needed
•Help coordinate contractors when in plant for service work

•Demonstrated commitment to quality
•Demonstrated safety awareness
•Strong computer skills
•Prior experience in purchasing preferred.
•Good mechanical / electrical aptitude is also desired.
