Maintenance Manager

Purpose: Aerotek Commercial is looking for a maintenance manager in the Crawfordsville, Indiana area. This is a direct placement position and candidates will be doing the following tasks:
- Plans, directs and coordinates activities of workers engaged in design, construction, modification, maintenance, and installation of equipment related to the production, buildings, grounds, and utility systems of the facility.
- Directs and coordinates periodic plant inspections to evaluate condition of system equipment
- Preparing work orders for major repairs.
- Directs maintenance and operations personnel to diagnose plant system equipment malfunctions and restore normal operation.
- Directs maintenance activities on utility systems and develop a preventative maintenance program.
- Plans, develops, and implements new methods to minimize energy consumption.
- Forms safety policies and deals with outside inspections.

Candidates that are interested in this position MUST meet the following qualifications:
- B. S. Degree in engineering discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil) from a 4 year college or university and 10 years of experience in plant operation.
- Previous experience as a maintenance manager.
- Previous experience with the above listed job functions.
- Be able to interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
- Be able to present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
- Be able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
