MAINTENANCE GENERAL- RECLAIM

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for maintaining / troubleshooting all manufacturing and support equipment in the Cable facility. Diagnose and perform accurate and timely repairs of equipment. Maintain accurate paperwork and work orders. Maintain an organized, safe, clean work area. Other work / projects as directed by the supervisor.
REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma, plus 3 years previous experience in maintaining plant equipment. Experience performing mechanical repairs for different varieties of machines. Effective communication skills with the ability to coordinate projects. Welding, basic electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic skills required. Preferred experience: Vocational training, basic mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic skills. Steam generator experience. PLC knowledge. PC skills.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS & UNUSUAL WORK EXPERIENCE:
Requires lifting up to 50 lbs on a regular basis and 100 lbs on an occasional basis. This positions requires a 12 month commitment to the position before being eligible to bid out. Work hours midnight to 7:30 am.
