Or,like the Infinity Stylus, one of the best-selling cameras in history.San Jose, CA - The lead endoscope technician assists the production supervisor in directing the technicians and the work on the line to meet company goals. The employee must have detailed knowledge of the products and processes, and have a technician's skill sets. This position assesses quality and productivity, and coordinates improvement activities with the production supervisor. Working with the supervisor, the lead endoscope technician ensures that all training needs are met. The lead endoscope technician must be able to achieve quality, cost and delivery goals established by the company and drive the 5S implementation and activity for their line. The technician must accomplish these objectives while maintaining a clean, well-organized work environment. Ensures the completion of accurate service records, flash reports, Discrepant Material Notices (DMNs), attendance records and other supplemental documentation, both electronically and manually. REQUIREMENTS
(ONLY QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WILL BE CONSIDERED) A minimum of 5 years electro-mechanical assembly/repair experience is required. Supervisory experience is desirable. Must have demonstrated leadership abilities. Must have good analytical skills, and be able to conduct trend analysis. Knowledge of parts acquisition and inventory control procedures is required. Must be capable of training others in technical tasks and technical theory. Knowledge of production techniques for WIP management is required. Must have an understanding of the basic concepts of production control and techniques. Knowledge of basic quality concepts and improvement techniques is a must. Must be skilled in teambuilding and be an excellent motivator. Must be computer literate.
