International Sr. Footwear Product Line Manager/SMU

Our client is considered “the founder” within their industry for their product. It is an international company that goes beyond performance apparel and footwear. Founded in 19 century, it distinguished itself by tailoring simple, classic good looking style. Our client has an opening for an International Footwear PLM in their headquarters in Europe.

Key Responsibilities:

-Lead the product creation process; comprehensively approach the process by understanding the scope of pre-briefing, consumer / customer targeting, business forecasting, formal briefing, design team inspiration, prototype management, manufacturing, and product delivery.
-Conduct overall industry analysis, market and consumer research, and competitive analysis.
-Plan overall international product line that delivers statement product, and builds in products…
-Create, communicate, and brief innovative new product ideas for category growth.
-Work closely as member of Product Line Management, Design, and Product Development team to bring new products to market. Proactively manage progression of product line throughout each season.
- Coordinate and plan new product launches in cooperation with the Business Unit Management.
-Work with key accounts in Europe and develop special make up footwear.
-Travel extensively to domestic and international markets to continuously develop fashion, consumer, and retail knowledge.
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:

-5-7 years of footwear product management experience with top tier international fashion/sports company.
-Knowledge of fashion consumer trends and market dynamics.
-Strong leadership skills.
-Strong analytical, overall business orientation.
-Excellent communication skills.
-Technical product knowledge.
-Global mindset.
