Inspector I

The Inspector I will ensures product (boards and mechanical assemblies) adheres to customer, industry and company standards. The Inspector I will be skilled in sampling and enforcing process controls.

o Reviews processes and practices, educates others, enforces procedures to build quality in.
o Reports data and analysis to drive improvements in quality and productivity.
o Tests and measures finished products, components, or assemblies for functioning, operation, accuracy, or assembly to verify adherence to functional specifications.
o Analyzes and interprets drawings, sample data, and other materials to determine, change, or measure specifications or inspection and testing procedures.
o Marks items for acceptance or rejection, records test results and inspection data, and compares findings with specifications to ensure conformance to standards.
o Inspects materials, products, and work in progress for conformance to specifications, and adjusts process or assembly equipment to meet standards.
o Operates of automated inspection equipment and tools.
o Computes and/or calculates sample data and test results.
o Meets with vendors and others regarding inspection results, recommends corrective procedures, and compiles reports of results, recommendations, and needed repairs.

REQUIREMENTS
o High school diploma or GED required.
o General assembly experience and inspection experience.
o Formal training/certifications a plus.
o Beginner level computer skills.
