12 hr. Night Shift (7pm - 7am)

(10 minutes south of Midway Airport)

Prairie Packaging is dedicated to the manufacture and marketing of the highest quality of disposable foodservice products for our global customer base.We are currently seeking Injection Molding Process Technicians to work at our Bedford Park, IL facility:JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for the set up and operation of injection molding machines process for maximum efficiency of parts production. Monitor injection mold machines operations, assist in troubleshooting and correcting issues involving production of parts. Responsible for ensuring a safe workplace, efficient production process, minimization of downtime, as well as a clean and orderly production area. The ability to lead a group of employees with various skill levels to achieve all of the above is essential. Maintain a daily checklist, reporting daily to the production supervisor. Take part in problem solving session and assist in the training new employees.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Only those candidates with previous injection molding experience will be considered. Must be a self starter, team oriented, flexible to work day or night shift, with a HS diploma (or GED). Must have good mechanical aptitude and previous Injection molding process experience.
