About the Position:
We are currently seeking an experienced Product Sales Representative. The right person will have strong inside sales and B2B sales skills. Experience selling a software, database, or health related subscription product is a perfect fit.
Essential functions include:
- Strives to reach sales goals as set by management; develop customer base necessary to meet all sales forecasts and budgets.
- Completes accurate and timely progress reports for the potential sales from funnel development through all stages towards actual sale.
- Follow-up on assigned leads as generated through Internet, marketing, and call-ins to identify opportunities for products and/or services.
- Prospects for new business, make cold-calls, qualify prospects and schedule conference calls and/or meetings involving other Reed Group team members as appropriate.
- Makes professional and influential technical presentations and demonstrations to potential clients. Assesses client needs and direct them toward the sale.
- Provides expert level of product knowledge as it may apply in a variety of situations and configurations.
- Prepares price quotes, proposals and product information on customization requests.
- Builds relationships with sales support staff, account management, marketing, clinical services, technical, customer services and any other resources needed to support achieving the sale. Involve such resources at the earliest appropriate point to maximize achievement of sales.
- Participates in marketing events, trade shows, associations meetings and industry events.
Qualified candidates must have at least 5 years of sales experience and an Associates degree or sales training (a Bachelor's degree is desired). Experience with outbound telephone sales is required, and some experience with software sales, database sales, data subscription sales or insurance sales is preferred. Fluency in Spanish is a huge plus and Spanish speaking sales professionals are strongly encouraged to apply.
