GRAPHIC TECH

Tradeshow exhibit manufacturer needs a dedicated, responsible and organized Graphic Tech to join our fast-paced Graphic team located in Niles, Illinois.
Qualifications:
*Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design
*Two years experience in print and electronic media
*Proficiency in Mac OSX environment and Adobe Creative Suite 2
*Familiarity with Quark, InDesign and Freehand a plus
*Ability to work in fast-paced environment
* Detail oriented
*Knowledge of printing and production
*Good communication skills and the ability to listen actively and ask questions to clarify a project’s goals, requirements and deadlines
REQUIREMENTS
Responsibilities:
*Preflight and prepare client-supplied files for large format vinyl, inkjet,
dyesub and direct to substrate printing
*Color correction
*Retouching and file manipulation
*Handle multiple projects with aggressive deadlines
*Track order status and maintain log in database
*Quality-control check proofs and completed graphics
*Provide technical support to external Distributors, clients and Designers
*Communicate with Customer Service Department, Distributors and Clients regarding graphic order status and issues
*Archive art upon completion of job
*Manage each graphic order from start to finish
