Ft.Lauderdale PIM Manager / Mold Maker

Purpose: A Fort Lauderdale, FL area company is looking for candidates to fill a position as a PIM Manager (Powder Injection Molding). Candidates must have experience with 2-shot mold making and PIM.

Candidates will be working in a plant environment that produces lighting components for the automobile and aviation industries. Products include miniature lamps, incandescent lights, indicator lights, electronic circuit boards, etc.

Other duties and job responsibilities include the Coordinazation and prioritization of production jobs, new parts, inventory of supplies, molds, and spare parts. Direct and train team members engaged in set-up, dismantling, and operating equipment. Assist maintenance team in diagnosing malfunctions in machinery and equipment. Production planning and ordering plastic parts and raw materials. Hands-on exposure to CNC set up and programming of machinery (molding machines).
