Four Slide Technician

Four-slide setup technicians are responsible for the specialized operation and setup of multiple slide-forming machines to automatically punch, cut, and form metal strips and wire.


Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years specific experience and training with the operation and setup of 4-slide machines in a metal forming shop. Knowledge of manufacturing methods and machine types, understanding of manufacturing quality standards, mechanical aptitude (form, fit, function) and strong communication skills are also required. A high school diploma or GED equivalency is the minimum education requirement for this position; however, advanced training in manufacturing processes, 4-slide operation, and/or metal forming is strongly desirable.
