This challenging position is in our growing Power Connector Cell. With the right Technical background and leadership skills this hands on Foreperson will have the opportunity to lead our night shift in the New Lenox facility. You will be responsible for scheduling our workforce, promoting safety, insuring quality, leading improvements and troubleshooting production equipment. Professionally complete administrative tasks as well as demonstrate ability to organize, plan, implement, delegate and complete multiple tasks in a timely manner. Safety, quality, customer service and continuous improvement are the keys to success.
REQUIREMENTS
Must have a minimum of 4 years manufacturing and supervisory experience and the ability to perform practical skills and management using progressive interpersonal skills with department personnel utilizing excellent leadership and team building experience. Proven ability to change priorities in order to meet organizational goals. Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing effectively with all levels of production, engineering, management, customers and suppliers. Review, prioritize and schedule production requirements. Promote safety, quality, and continuous improvements through training and enabling forward thinking of the department personnel. Develop and execute training plans to assist others in learning work processes and equipment functions. Assist Engineering with new production tool testing. Audit production to verify quality and documentation requirements.
