First class Fortune 100 Food Service and Manufacturing Company is seeking an experienced Food Technologist to join their organization. This position offers an excellent salary and benefits package!

Job Responsibilities:

Provides Food Science, Culinary and Project Management experience to design and develop new products and to improve existing products, ingredients and processes. Including:

Planning and testwork to optimize product design and formulation to meet project deadlines;

Management of product development activities (designing testwork, obtaining resources, evaluating results with team and determining project direction, maintaining appropriate records of work) for concept through commercialization. Includes maintaining excellent communications with cross-functional teams and working on computer systems such as HACCP, PDS and nutritional databases;

Strong leadership skills to facilitate meetings and task force teams to support projects.
REQUIREMENTS
Requires a B.S. in Food Science or a related field plus 3-5 years of experience in the food industry;

Creative, problem solving and organizational skills;

Experience with a variety of ingredients and processing systems is desirable;

Individual must be able to work independently while able to support the overall objectives of a development team;

The ability to effectively communicate is a must.
