Finishing Supv - Container

Supervises one shift of the Finishing Department to meet all productivity, safety and quality goals. Conducts/schedules training and ensures guidelines/policies are adhered to.
Approves make-readies and inspects work-in-process to ensure compliance with quality specifications.

Checks production levels and investigates production problems to ensure efficient operation.

Conducts training of the workforce as needed and ensures appropriate disciplinary actions are taken when deemed necessary. Ensures compliance with the Union contract and company policy.

Maintains a proactive ERM program.

Enforces plant safety regulations, good housekeeping practices, and all other duties as assigned.

Schedules hourly employees to duties according to type, operation, skills, and provisions of labor contract.

Maintains appropriate logs and reports and performs other tasks as required by management.

Supervises production of customer orders as scheduled and in accordance with our quality program and customer specifications.
