Finished Goods Planner

Join the leader of direct selling of beauty products as a Finished Goods Planner. The individual in this position will effectively analyze total demand, set priorities and communicate the production plan to key customers for their assigned product category. This person must show a high level of competence in decision-making, risk management and cost analysis and develop, monitor, communicate and implement a production plan that supports 100% customer service at the lowest possible inventory investment.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Analyze total demand for completeness.
Develop Master Production Schedule based on total demand and adjust based on capacity restraints.
Develop and issue material requirement to your supplier base.
Review shortfalls in material contracts within designated lead times; and reorder quantities.
Develop and communicate finite constraint production schedule and expedite materials to support it.
Communicate potential non-conformance issues to Customer Service, Purchasing, and Distribution.
Maintain KPI for Inventory and Customer Service.
Coordinate Movement of bulk to OV suppliers.
Work with PLC on product control and disposition.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors degree required preferably in supply chain.
Two to four years experience with MRPII system.
Must acquire knowledge of functional operations (production, material handling, purchasing, finance).
Thorough understanding of all policies and procedures relative to customer service and inventory control. APICS certification recommended.
Possess knowledge of MRP II concepts and ERP system functionality.
Detail-oriented, yet comprehend which issues to prioritize and which details to monitor.
Ability to work at a fast pace in a rapidly changing business environment.
Demonstrate experience in addressing issues to senior management.
Constantly look for processes in improving lead-times and eliminate non-value-added activities.
Customer-focused and have a sense of urgency.
Ability to effectively function within a diversified team.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
