Atlet AB, headquartered in Mölnlycke, Sweden, is a global manufacturer of advanced logistic materials handling equipment with sales and distribution capabilities world-wide. We are looking for a qualified candidate to troubleshoot electrical forklifts for our team in Chicago, Illinois.
Field Service Mechanic
The job
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical problems on all types of forklifts.
Analyze and diagnose customer equipment problems and breakdowns.
Make appropriate equipment repairs or modifications.
Secure and maintain service and parts inventory in the company service vehicle.
Keep pace with industry innovations in order to make sound recommendations to customers. REQUIREMENTS
High school graduate. May include equivalent college or vocational school education.
Provide well-maintained personal tools required to effectively perform equipment service duties.
One to three years of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic experience in forklift repairs.
Must have the physical stamina to perform continuously with full body motion for climbing, reaching, pushing, lifting and reaching, etc.
