Fabrication Specialist

Completes fabrication process steps with installation components following specific technical finishing directions from job packet. Finishing steps may include stone material trimming, sizing, sanding, buffing and epoxy welding. Clean and inspect fabricated materials to ensure quality installation. Use flammable materials and adhesives and/or hardeners following accepted safety protocols. Document activities using uniform reporting system as well as consumption of direct shop supplies and hardware. Suppport movement of heavy and/or bulky materials to sustain shop flows. Communicate discrepancies with Fabrication leader in order to initiate corrective actions.
REQUIREMENTS
-Demonstrated ability to work effectively with stone, tile, marble and composite materials.
-Ability to operate safely and effectively equipment used for cutting, grinding, sawing, shaping and cleaning.
-Ability to read and interpret written instuctions involving mathematics and measurements.
-Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
