Employees in the Technology and Manufacturing group are part of a worldwide network of manufacturing and assembly/test facilities.In this position, you will be a Supplier Equivalent Trained Technician, you will receive six-nine months of vendor and Intel training to become P1264 L3/4 Vendor and Intel's equipment certified. Upon startup of P1266, you will receive P1266 differences training and are expected to become P1266 L3/4 certified before ramp. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:- Providing training, coaching and mentoring peer technicians. They will perform tasks that (1) require an extremely high level of technical competence (2) include an intrinsically higher level of potential risk or are infrequently performed, and/or (3) require skills developed through experience and deep theoretical understanding. Placement will be on a compressed work week shiftEngaging and be competent in the following kinds of work:- Unscheduled maintenance and repairs (from routine through most complex; includes responsibility for error recoveries); must be capable of all tasks within green to green., including qualification- All PMs on owned equipment group (pre-task planning, pit stop, post-mortem)- Maintaining a professional work environment - keep area neat, clean, and well-organized - eliminate risk of injury and minor defects- Communication, planning, and decisions regarding equipment maintenance priorities and scheduling (includes tactical 24 hours and strategic two-week gameplans)- Partnering with equipment engineer on creation and implementation of BKMs, jigs/fixtures, hand tool/chase layout and BOM management- Tactical planning and execution of tool upgrades and modifications- Training and mentoring other technicians; certify/decertify; initiating feedback to peers regarding quality of maintenance work- Partnering with equipment engineer for spec, RFC, and training material editing -- Creating job-help tools and systems- Leading tool hard down gameplan development and facilitate SWATs- Responsible for team motivation - explain theory and importance of maintenance as it applies situationally- Instructing and facilitating equipment and safety training courses (Intel U, Tool specific)- Sharing knowledge and resources with other shifts; partner with engineers for cross-factory learning
job Requirements
You must possess an Associate of Arts or Science degree with more than five years of direct equipment maintenance experience on specialty toolset or eight to ten years of direct equipment maintenance experience on specialty toolset. A Supplier Equivalent Trained Technician must demonstrate competency in the following areas:- Expert knowledge of safety hazards associated with specialty toolset- Demonstrated skill in L3+ maintenance on at least one of the following toolsets: Hitachi* etch, TEL* etch or Novellus* ash- Ability to train peers effectively on all PMs, troubleshoot and repair, and theory- Effective meetings and facilitation; consistently owns effective SWATs and on-shift taskforces- Demonstrated leadership and teamwork skills- Demonstrated ability to work independently and achieve objectives- Demonstrated skills in effective communication and training- Advanced equipment troubleshooting (electrical, robotic, pneumatic, mechanical, optical, control systems, and other)- Expert knowledge of equipment and/or process interactions - understand defect mechanisms on specialty toolset- Automation applications (RCTs, station controllers, tool controllers, and other)- Knowledgeable of machine theory of specialty toolset, major components, and general systems (high vacuum, electromechanical servo, robotics, gasses, liquids, electronics)- Established as a technical and situational team leader in area of specialty- Ability to take personal initiative to continuously learn new and/or improved methods and technologiesIntel only accepts resumes/CV's submitted to our web site.
