Expediter

Responsibilities include obtaining status of material deliveries, coordinating activities involved with the expediting of purchased items, maintaining amd monitoring the on-line purchasing system. Interface with suppliers and internal organizations such as planning, quality control, inventory control, manufacturing, purchasing and engineering relative to expediting materials and resolution of problems; advising management of unresolved items. Good verbal and written communication skills required. Experience with P.C. based software programs, Excel and Word.
