Apollo Professional Solution currently has a EVMS Financial Analyst position available.



Duties And Essential Functions

This position is responsible for the implementation and administration of the Earned Value Management System (EVMS) at the client's site. The EVMS Analyst interfaces directly with program managers and works together with them to plan, budget and track their various work efforts. Responsibilities include the accumulation of actual labor and material charges for reporting purposes; administration of EVMS forms and procedures such as work authorization; maintenance of contract budget base files; maintenance of baseline budgets and schedules; gathering performance information from budget owners; reporting of monthly Earned Value metrics and statuses.

This position is part of the Finance department. The position includes financial closing responsibilities. The position also supports program management through preparation of pricing information and backup data for bid proposals. Responsibilities include Achieving Competitive Excellence (ACE) pilot duties.
REQUIREMENTS
Required Skills

The successful candidate must be proficient with the Microsoft Office suite of software. Good verbal and written communication skills are necessary. The ideal candidate will have an undergraduate degree in Finance or Accounting. An MBA is preferred. The ideal candidate will have 2 – 5 years of relevant experience.
