Department Manager

Hobby Lobby is a 33 year old, privately held corporation and is one of America's fastest growing arts and crafts chains. We carry unique home furnishings from around the world, a wide range of arts and craft supplies as well as a large seasonal department. We are currently looking to fill a full-time department manager position in our Louisville, KY. Store hours are Monday through Saturday, 9 AM to 8 PM and we are CLOSED ON SUNDAY.

HOBBY LOBBY CREATIVE CENTER is accepting applications for a full-time department manager in the Home Accents, Needle, and Fabric areas.

A department manager is responsible for:
Ordering
Stocking
Merchandise presentation
Straightening and cleaning your department.

Department Managers also back-up cashiers as needed.

Requirements:
Applicants must be mature and self motivated
Must be willing to work 2 evenings a week, and every other Saturday
Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environmentPrevious retail experience is preferred, but not necessary
Must be able to stand 8 hours, excluding breaks
