Debug Technician

Purpose: Milpitas based company is currently looking for a Test Technician for an immediate opening.

Technical requirements:

-min 3 years work experience in a related field, CM work experience a plus
-min 2 year technical degree or tech school required. Hardware disciplines preferred over software
-experience with debugging BGA and multilayer PCBs.
-capable of interpreting test scripts and test results from command line interfaces
-basic understanding of TL1 syntax. TL1 scripting experience a plus. Expect experience a plus.
-prior experience in ATM systems including control packs, function packs, and or shelves.
-Comfortable with use of debug tools such as Oscilloscopes, DVMs, JTAG, VisionICE, etc.
-Component level debug a must (system and board level only will not be enough)
-Comfortable on Windows 2000 PCs, Solaris clients or other Xwin, some Linux or Unix, some Data entry.
-Some experience with Failure Analysis is a plus
-Basic understanding of TCP/IP and LAN concepts a plus.
-Strong communication skills will be needed for this Tech to effectively interface with peers and managers.
