DIRECTOR, OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE

Liquid Controls Group (LCG), A Unit of IDEX Corporation & leading manufacturer of flow meters, pumps and compressors, has an opening for a Director of Operational Excellence, with the responsibility for planning and directing policies, programs & initiatives, and promoting operational excellence throughout the organization. This director will develop and implement lean initiatives and corporate quality programs; will direct the maintenance of the ISO-9000 quality standards and 14000 environmental standards, and assure the documentation of the program and its distribution to LCG personnel. This position is fully accountable for continued ISO, Weights & Measures, and safety certification; Six Sigma; and upholding the principals and philosophies of total quality management.

REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree and/or extensive management training, and a minimum of 10 years’ lean, quality & management experience – preferably in a manufacturing environment. Must be a Certified Quality Engineer or Black Belt, and a lean practitioner. Technical skills (statistical analysis, systems development & implementation, training ability, problem-solving) are required. Must have excellent communication skills. Possible travel up to 25%.
