Customer Service Specialist

The Professional Placement Division of Volt Services Group is currently searching for an outstanding customer service professional for our client in the Torrance area. Our client is a mid-size manufacturer of specialty products sold and distributed world-wide. In this role, you will support the national sales and marketing efforts by providing exceptional customer service. This includes a high-volume of inbound calls, telemarketing, internet research and bidding on government contracts. In this position, you will have complete product knowledge training and occasionally travel to trade shows throughout the country. Requirements:

Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 2 years customer service/sales support experience in a government contracts environment. Knowledge of the bidding process and exposure to procurement websites is preferred. Candidates must have excellent communicant skills both verbal and written in addition to impeccable organizational, multi-tasking and presentation skills. Intermediate proficiency utilizing Word and Excel is also required. Candidates must also have the ability to write quotes and other correspondence related to the sales process.
