Standard Concrete Products, Inc., a leading producer of prestressed and precast concrete products has a career opportunity for a Corporate Safety Manager in the Corporate Office in Columbus, Georgia.
Responsibilities will include:
Creating, implementing and monitoring Corporate Safety Rules and Regulations as well as compliance with all state and federal regulations.Position will include traveling to all plants on a consistent basis.Individual will work with Plant Managers and Plant Superintendents
and report directly to the Vice President/Risk Management.Must be
proficient in OSHA Regulations.

REQUIREMENTS


This Corporate Safety Manager position requires:
A four-year degree in Safety Management and/or Risk Management andAt least five years safety experience, preferably in prestress/precast concrete manufacturing or construction.




A company vehicle will be furnished, as our Corporate Safety Manager will be required to visit Savannah, Tampa, Atlanta and Mobile Plants weekly or at least bimonthly. A schedule can be worked out, but travel should be at least three days each week to some of the above locations.
Starting salary - $65,000.
