Contractor Sales Rep.

Job Title: Contractor Sales 84 Lumber Company is the largest privately owned lumber and building supply retailer in the nation. We have over 450 stores nationwide and are continuing to grow to service the needs of professional builders, contractors and home owners. Our sales closed in on $4 Billion in 2005 with over 85% of that total coming from professional builders.

Contractor Sales Representatives (CSRs)

•Sell Lumber and Building Materials
•Service your current customers
•Create new Customer Relationships
•Build strong Vendor relationships
•Create Special Orders
•Create relationships through Home Building Associations

If you can read blueprints, create building material estimates from drawings, and have proven sales experience selling to contractors, you may have what it takes to join our industry-leading team of CSRs. We currently have over 1900 sales professionals catering to our builder’s needs throughout the country. You supply the leads and your experience and we will supply the tools for your success.

Minimum Qualifications:

•High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)
•Industry Related Experience
•Industry Contacts
•Ability to Read and Understand Blueprints
•Complete Material Estimates
•Take and Pass Pre-employment tests that include Math Skills, Drug Test
•Be willing to work in outdoor conditions
•Be willing to load and unload lumber and other building materials
