Compounder

This is a high impact position because Compounding is the first step of the manufacturing process. Adherence to area policies and procedures is critical to maintaining product quality and a safe environment.

Responsibilities:
* Performs compounding responsibilities, such as weigh, formulate, and mix bulk solutions.
* Formulate acid and caustic solution for pH adjustment and perform pH adjustments.
* Take measurement for monitoring and testing of manufacturing processes, such as pH, conductivity, and UV.
* Clean tanks, delivery lines, and equipment.
* Maintain documentation, such as batch records, paperwork, and logbooks.
* Formulate cleaning and sanitizing solutions for the facility.
* Maintains a clean work area.
* Works in other areas, as required.
* Follows GMP guidelines, safety procedures, and SOPs at all times.
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:
* At least one year of cGMP manufacturing experience is required, preferably in the pharmaceutical compounding.
* College courses in Algebra and Science (preferably Chemistry) or equivalent experience is required for this position. In some cases, experience from related industries can be substituted.
* Good written and verbal communication skills, good interpersonal skills, attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, basic math, computer, and science knowledge are required.
* The ability to lift greater than 50 pounds and push greater than 500 pounds is needed.
* The position requires some schedule flexibility.
* Activities occur in clean room attire. Some operations require use of a full face respirator.
