Commodity Manager

We are looking for a strong Commodity Manager to buy very large quantities of MRO (maintenance, repair, and operations) for a very well known manufacturing organization.
There will be some travel, most of it being domestic. Position reports to a VP level individual. VERY visible position. Opportunity for promotion. NO direct report responsibility.MRO will include: travel services with airlines, hotels, car rental, office supplies, promotional items, chemicals, lubricants etc..
Also repair items $100M spend, hundreds of shops that they deal with.We are looking for someone to standardize their operation. Someone with experience working with machine shops.Position is North of Lexington, KY.
REQUIREMENTS
4 year degree a must and at least 3 years experience in a purchasing role for manufacturing. Multiple plant experience helpful. The purchase of MRO commodities also helpful.
