About the Opportunity:



We are currently a seeking a creative high energy, motivated, self starter who is interested in working with individuals diagnosed with a developmental disability to oversee the production of chocolates.



The CHOCOLATE MAKER supervises and coordinates activities of employees with developmental disabilities engaged in preparation of various types of chocolate confections.

REQUIREMENTS
Experience and Skills Required
Our ideal candidate is skilled and knowledgeable in all types of chocolate making and decorating, including the correct procedure for molding, tempering, cleaning and packaging. S/he possesses extensive skills in all facets of chocolate making equipment and is proficient with planning production in accordance with incoming orders. Excellent communication skills are required including the ability to effectively teach people with disabilities



Candidates must possess accreditation from a Culinary Education institution or have relevant experience. A valid New York State driver’s license is a must. Previous experience working with developmentally disabled population is a plus. The ability to read, write and speak English and interact effectively with coworkers, consumers, and customers is a must!
