Cabinetry Division Quality Manager (1218)

This position will have key responsibility for the development and implementation of consistent quality procedures, policies and best practices across the division to insure attainment of customer quality expectations. Responsibilities include providing leadership and guidance to the Plant Quality Managers and Quality Teams, developing and implementing a quality plan across the division, auditing processes at facilities to insure conformance with quality standards and driving continuous improvement in all quality related activities. Candidate will review customer and supplier issues, conduct audits, selectively employ quality tools and undertake corrective actions as necessary. Will participate in the development and implementation of new products and processes to insure adherence to quality standards. Will implement programs consistent with division strategic plan.
REQUIREMENTS
Must possess excellent communication skills (written and verbal) coupled with a strong accountability focus with demonstrated results. Must be a results oriented manager with proven ability to develop team members, seve as a coach, communicate at all levels of the organization, and have a "factory floor presence".

Experience Required:
The preferred candidate will have at least 8 - 10 years of manufacturing management experience with a focus on quality assurance. A working knowledge of continuous improvement manufacturing principles is required. Position will require a BS degree in a technical or manufacturing related field. MBA would be a plus.
