Assembly Technician

Amatrol has a new, modern manufacturing facility located in the North Port Business Centre. We build a wide array of products that support technical education.

We are currently looking for an Assembly Technician to join our manufacturing team.

The Assembly Technicians are responsible for completion of mechanical assembly of components, sub-assemblies and finished products

Key areas of responsibility:
• Assemble components and finished goods applying fundamental and advanced mechanical practices and procedures.
• Apply Through Hole & Surface Mount Technology to soldering applications
• Solder and repair hydraulic and pneumatic items as needed
• Ensure proper performance of components (using instruments such as pressure gauges and micrometers)
• Assemble components, sub-assemblies and finished goods employing best practice techniques
• Document production of devices (including manufacturing procedures)
• Diagnose troubleshoot and repair components as needed

REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
•High Level of Mechanical Aptitude
•Competency in fundamental mechanical assembly
•Strong sense of internal customer service
•Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
•Good organizational skills

The preferred candidate will have two years of Assembly experience
