Assembly Inspector

Opportunity you can't miss out on! In this position you will inspect components and products for conformance to specifications (schematics and drawings), using fixed or preset measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, etc.). Ensures materials and products are in accordance with established tolerance levels (using Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing, or GDT) for quality and performance and are not irregular or damaged. Attention to detail and variances important. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field (engineering preferably). Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Ability to re-direct attention to other tasks in the shop as priorities change a must. Performs a variety of tasks, including some mechanical assembly using hand tools. Depending on need, will make crates for shipping assemblies out.




job Requirements


Experience with basic Word, Excel, and e-mail systems needed.
Any experience with GDT huge plus!
