F+W Publications, a progressive, nationally award-winning publisher, is seeking an enthusiastic professional to join our Iola, Wisconsin team as an Advertising Sales Director.

This Director will plan and execute advertising programs, which span all types of media while growing the advertising objectives and target markets.

Responsibilities include:
Building identity of publishing company and raising awareness through effective advertising programs.
Negotiating advertising contracts with outside advertising agencies and print, broadcast, and online media representatives.
Directing creative and production teams in developing or producing advertisements.
Assisting with new series and title launches, and directing preparation of special promotional features.
Monitoring and analyzing sales promotion results to determine cost effectiveness of campaign.

Qualified candidates will possess:
Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years work experience in direct advertising sales, including proven track record of successful accomplishments selling key accounts.
Proven sales management experience with teams of 8+ employees.
Must be a strong leader who can take on a high level of responsibility and solve problems.
Exceptional organizational skills with ability to multi-task and be deadline driven.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong follow-up skills and detail oriented.
Computer skills to include: MS Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.
