ASSEMBLER-ELECTRO MECHANICAL
Purpose: Located in Carson, CA, this Corporation provides contract manufacturing (CM) services to multiple industries including: aerospace, defense, surveillance, automotive, pro-audio, medical and industrial controls.
Currently they are seeking candidates for several positions, including Electro-mechanical assemblers to add to our team of quality professionals:
Required education, experience and attributes of a successful candidate for our Electro-Mechanical Assembler positions:
REQUIREMENTS:
High school degree or trade equivalent
Minimum 1 year experience as an assembler in a manufacturing environment
Understanding and familiarity with handling electrostatic devices and components
Certified in soldering per IPC-610 or MIL STD
Experienced in working with various hand and power tools
Ability to read color-codes, assembly and harness drawings
Basic computer skills
Must be able to work with a minimum of supervision
Must have good oral and written communication skills
Must be detail oriented within a fast-paced environment
Must be willing to take on new tasks and a changing environment
Responsibilities of the Electro-Mechanical Assembler:
Primarily to assemble electrical and mechanical parts to customer specifications.
