Transfer Pricing Manager

Our client is seeking an Internal Audit Senior or Audit Supervisor to work out of the Home Office in Hartford, Connecticut. The primary responsibilities of this position will be to assist the Audit Director in the identification of potential operational, financial, and Information Technology audit areas, plan audit projects, perform detail audit procedures, supervise work performed by other department members, draft audit recommendations and audit reports. Participate in close out meetings with senior management.

The candidate should have some IT audit experience to handle pre-implementation system audits. The candidate will interact with all levels of management, Internal Audit, PwC external auditors, and the company's outside business partners.
REQUIREMENTS
What We Require:

* BS in accounting or equivalent work experience.
* 4 to 9 years of total financial experience with 3 of those years being with a BIG 4 public accounting firm with large audit clients.
* Must have some IT auditing experience.
* Must be CPA or working towards certification and be proficient with PC.
* Excellent verbal and written skills, strong attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills, ability to work under deadlines, self motivated and able to work independently, and must be hands on.

* Willing to travel overnight approximately 30-35% both domestically and internationally.


What We Desire:

* Additional education in computer science or IT audit experience a plus.
* 4 to 9 years of total experience with 3 to 4 of those years being with a BIG 4 public accounting firm with insurance audit clients.
* Internal Audit experience in insurance a plus and IT audit experience.
* Quality insurance company audit experience could replace 1-2 years of the BIG 5 experience.
* Audit experience should be heavily weighted in the insurance industry, preferably in the property and casualty area.
* Additional certifications such as CISA, and or CIA.
* MBA a plus as is knowledge of ACL or another audit software package.
