Supt Maintenance (REFRIGERATION)

Function: MaintenancePay Type: ExemptPosition Number: 90043210 Supt MaintenanceEmployee Type: Full Time Shift 1Job Description: This position is responsible for operation and maintenance of the ammonia refrigeration system, HCFC systems, hot water, air compressors and their safe and efficient operations. Must be able to understand and work within rules and standards of OSHA Process Safety Mamagement (PMS) and EPA Risk Management Program (RMP). Must be able to work within a total team enviroment and be able to effectively deal with team members, the management team, operations personnel, as well as contractors. Foundational knowledge in troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, electrical, refrigereation and other systems under the areas of assigned responsibilities. Be willing to participate in training and skill development in all areas of responsibility and be self motivated.
Position-Specific Requirements: EDUCATION: HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR GED.FORMAL TRAINING FROM AN AIR-CONDICTIONING/REFRIGERATION TECHNICAL SCHOOL A PLUS. RETA AND IIAR AMMONIA REFRIGERATION TRAINING PREFERRED.EXPERIENCE 7-10 YEARS INDUSTERIAL AMMONIA REFRIGERATION AND EQUIPTMENT ROOM EXPERIENCE IN A FOOD PLANT PREFERRED. EXPERIENCE IN A AIR CONDICTIONING/REFRIGERATION INDUSTRY A PLUS. MUST HAVE WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF ELECTRICAL TESTING EQUIPTMENT, BASIC HAND AND POWER TOOLS. EXTENSIVE KNOWLEDGE OF INDUSTERIAL SAFETY PROCEDURESCOMPUTER SKILLS: WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF WINDOWS-BASED SOFTWARE, SUCH AS MICROSOFT EXCEL AND WORD, AND THE ABILITYTO LEARN AND APPLY TYSON SAP-PM PLANT SAFETY MAINTENANCE SYSTEM.TRAVEL: 1 TO 5 TRIPS PER YEAR.Equal Opportunity Employer, M/F/D/V
